Riding Club Rallies 2012
Sunday 2nd Oct - Mini X - Country training with Chris Derryman at Pontispool. Have you always wanted to have a go at X Country but worried about having to jump huge fences then fear not this rally is designed for people that would like to give it a go but start off at a smaller height, or for those with young horses that would like to start them over smaller x-country fences. POSTPONED TO A LATER DATE
10am till 12pm or 12.30pm till 2.30pm - up to 5 in a group, lessons are for 2 hours = £25
Sun 22nd Jan 2012 - X - Country jumping arena style with Nick Norman at Nick’s place, Broomhill farm, Lopen.
New Rally for 2011 / 2012. Always wanted to give X-Country a go but in a more confined space then this will be a fun rally to try just that. Up to 3 in a group, lessons are for 1 hour = £15 (Please state on form what height you wish to jump, starting at 2ft)
Sat 28th Jan 2012 - Simulator with Felicity Mann at Felicity’s place, Jerwoods farm, Culmstock.
This rally is back by popular demand so book in quickly as only one date this year. You have your turn on the horse simulator in front of mirrors with Felicity giving you advice. Up to four in a group lasts for around two hours = £25 (please state if you have attended this rally before on the rally booking form)
Mon 6th Feb 2012 - Show Jumping with Chris Brake at Heazle
Always wanted to jump a round of fences and then get some advice and feedback on how you and your horse went and how to make any improvements to keep those fences up and get that perfect round!! Then this is the rally for you, Chris will watch you over a course of fences and then give you advice and feedback and then you can put that into practice with in your lesson.
9.45am - 1.45pm, up to 3 in a group, lessons are for 1 hour = £15 (please state on form height you wish to jump, starts at 2ft 3)
Mon 27th Feb 2012 - Flat work with Sue Petty at Heazle, 9.45pm - 1.45pm, up to two in a group,
lessons are for 1 hour = £20
Sat 3rd March 2012 - X - Country training with Helen Mitchell at Pontispool.
Up to 5 in a group, lessons are for 2 hours (Please state on form height you wish to jump, starts at 2ft 3) = £25
Tue 6th March 2012 - Flat work with Nina Venables at Haydon House, Henlade.
10.30am - 4.15pm, up to two in a group, lessons are for 1 hour = £15

Sun 8th April 2012- Pole Work and Gymnastic jumping with Gaynor Lomas, Netherclay.

| ■ | Please make all cheques payable to Taunton and District Riding club with the correct amount for each rally |
| ■ | Must be separate cheques and forms for each rally you wish to attend |
| ■ | Please state the height you wish to jump if attending a jumping rally - I will do my best to group people together dependant on the height they wish to jump |
| ■ | If there is a particular time that suits you better to attend the rally please state this on your rally booking form i.e. morning or afternoon - I will do my best to fit you in at that time |
| ■ | Please send all completed rally forms and cheques to my home address no later that 7 days prior to the rally taking place. If you want to book onto a rally after this time (a week before the date) then please ring me to see if there is any spaces left before sending in your form and payment |
| ■ | If you need directions / addresses of rally venues then please feel free to ring me on my home phone or mobile. If no answer leave me a message with your contact details and I will call you back |
| ■ | For all X Country rallies you must wear a body protector, if you fail to bring / wear one on the day of the rally you will not be able to take part |
| ■ | Cancellations will be accepted up to 5 days prior to the rally taking place, after that payment will still be taken, unless cancellation is due to rider / horse injury or medical reason which a medical note or vets cert will need to be seen to verify this. Or if cancellation is made via the riding club i.e. sever weather conditions or cancellation of instructor / venue then you will be given a full refund |
