Home Page Taunton & District Riding Club

Originally founded in 1954 as Somerset Combined Training Group and split in to two separate clubs in April 1958, the other being Lamberts Castle RC, the name Taunton & District RC came into being in 1983.

The present club has a membership of approximately 140+ members with a junior section of about a dozen. Juniors must be 11 as at the beginning of the current year.

The club has strong participation in all three disciplines, dressage, show jumping and eventing. We hold various rallies for all abilities at different venues in the area. Our social calendar is well supported and varied!

We believe that we are an enthusiastic and friendly club and we welcome new members.
