AREA 12 WINTER DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER AT PONTISPOOL SUCCESS FOR TAUNTON TEAM.
The club had three teams competing on Sunday February 21st at Pontispool in the qualifier. There were 20 teams in all and our Taunton Troupers consisting of Judy Clive, Chris Derryman and Sue Lanz came FIRST! Taunton Tigers team consisting of Kate Bellamy, Sophie Layard, Anne Plume and Nicola Nicholls came FIFTH. So Taunton & District had a very good day out. The weather was kind, which was just as well as it was a long day. Great effort from some of the team members who lived far out where there was still a few inches of snow to contend with. So they will be off to Hartpury College, Glos on Saturday April 3rd for the Championships. We wish them all the best of luck.
DO YOU REALISE WE HAVE SENIOR SHOW JUMPING AND DRESSAGE TEAMS AT THE HARTPURY CHAMPIONSHIPS ON 3/4 APRIL AS WELL AS OUR VERY SUCCESSFUL JUNIOR SHOW JUMPING TEAM!!!
